"LORENZO D'ORO" AWARD
The Lorenzo d'Oro Award, established in 2007 by the Organising Committee of the Biennale Internazionale d’Antiquariato di Firenze, is assigned to the film and television author who makes an outstanding contribution to the cultural promotion and multimedia dissemination of the works of art in the world.
The enhancement of the historical-artistic heritage and the promotion of the values of Culture and Art depend not only on the Institutions of our Country or on private collectors who prevent their dispersion, but also to a significant extent on the work of the Cinema and Television authors who spread the language of the works of art in the world. The Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze aims to offer a contribution to the cultural debate on the function and use of artworks through the "Lorenzo d 'Oro".
